 Mar News from Mountain Laurel Pomona No. 15

We held our March meeting at Riverton Grange Hall on the 1st. Part of the Lecturer’s Program was a discussion of the names of our Granges. All Pomona members are invited. Again this year at our June meeting we will be collecting books for the Region 1 Book Bus. Please bring all donations to that meeting.

Mar. 5: First Degree Ritualism Mar. 19: Youth Night We had to cancel our January 15th meeting due to issues with our furnace. As I write this, we will get back to normal with our February meetings and cooperation with Mother Nature.

 Mar News from Eastern CT Pomona No. 14

Eastern Connecticut Pomona held its regular meeting on March 1 at Hillstown Grange Hall. The program was “ Love Languages”, presented by the Lecturer. Our collection items for the March meeting are cleaning products ( disinfecting wipes, sponges, paper towels, dishwashing liquid, laundry detergent, etc.).

 From the State Secretary: 990 E-Postcard Scam Warning

Recently, I received a note from a Grange secretary indicating they had tried to file their 990N E-Postcard and paid the associated fee and were informed their filing was rejected.
