State Overseer Ted Powell presented Years Service Awards to Fred Camp for 55 years, Albert Maddox for 55 years, Barbara Robert for 45 years, Eloise Osuch and Malcolm for 30 years, and Ray Johnstone for 25 years.
Bean and potato seeds will be given to Nonnewaug High School. Students will donate the harvest to the food bank.
The Town’s Park Department’s has scheduled a historical re-enactment program of Paul Revere’s ride on April 18 at 7pm. A live rider will ride around and about town. Several Grange members have volunteered to assist with the event’s setup of luminaries.
The lecturer’s program topic was “Roses” and was conducted by Fred Fairchild.
