President's Message |
MARCH 3, 2025 -- On December 10 and January 14, I attended the last two meetings of Preston City Grange #110. With sadness I accepted their charter as the members voted to close the Grange organized in 1889 and re- organized in 1905.

MARCH 3, 2025 -- As I write this article, Mr. Trump has been President for four weeks. Elon Musk’s DOGE department is reviewing all Federal Agencies and an estimated 5,000 Federal employees may be let go.
Impacted agencies include SNAP, WIC, Medicaid, Medicare, conservation projects, grants, and more.

Lecturer's Corner |
MARCH 3, 2025 -- Hemlock Grange Lecturer Nancy Swanson recommended that I speak virtually about the National Grange’s Heirloom Program at Manatee Grange in Florida. Manatee Grange is the only community Grange remaining in Florida, and I had a wonderful time visiting with its members.
