| OCTOBER 8, 2024 -- We finally had our picnic and the weatherman didn’t interfere this time. The weather was fine and the food and fun was everything I said it would be in the last Granger.
We met in August and had the last of our Fruit theme programs. Marilyn Maxwell put on the program “Dragon Fruit”. We learned a lot about it and was able to sample some. Most of us had never seen or tasted one.
We are now starting our new theme “Animals”. Our next meeting is October 11th. Ceres Carol Brooks in charge of the program “Horses”. Marianne Nielsen and Ron Gunther will provide the refreshments.
Ron and Marianne will be our Delegates to the State Grange Session.
We are now planning our next raffle for December 21st. We could use some prizes from our stay-at- home members.
