At our August 4 meeting we learned about many different “Operations” (other than the game by that name), and on August 25 we played a rousing game of Battleship and Charlie Pianka gave an interesting history of American Battleships.
Brian Rathbun, a Golden Sheaf member and a talented craftsman, presented the Grange with a beautifully carved plaque titled “Best in Show”. It will be placed on the wall of the hall. Thank you, Brian.
Come in costume and bring all the kids to our annual Halloween party. No meeting, just fun and games and great refreshments.
Dues will be due starting October 1st. As there has been an increase in dues to State our dues have been raised to $40.00 a year. A letter will be sent out soon to all members stating an important change in dues policy. And if those pesky hurricanes that keep popping up in the Atlantic will just stat away, next time we will tell you about super September.
