Public Relations News: Start Fresh With New Ideas

By Terri Fassio, CT State Public Relations Co-Director

  November 3, 2022 --

As we begin a new Grange Year, now is the time for Granges to be creative and think outside the box while they begin planning their programs and events for the holidays and for 2023.

Many of the ideas above are the “old standards” that you often see Granges doing.  But why not take one the standards and turn it into something new. For example, instead of just having a spaghetti supper, combine it with entertainment of Italian music and perhaps have a best sauce, best garlic bread or best meatball tasting competition too.

By publicizing your upcoming Grange events, and promoting the projects your Grange is working on, your Grange will attract attention and interest - and it is those people who are interested that could turn out to be your new members. Plus, your Grange will raise some money too. Remember to plan your Grange functions far enough in advance to give adequate time for marketing and publicity.
