| April 2, 2022 -- Hello Spring, It’s a beautiful day as I write this article. We are all feeling that relief that we are almost thru the long winter. Maybe you are planning your gardens and flower beds. Maybe you are starting up that next project for one of our contests. Whatever you are doing, it’s always a great time of year.
Has your Grange made their donations to our projects? I just wanted to remind you that this year’s special project remains the same as last year. It is the Community Renewal Team’s Meals on Wheels program. With the cost of everything remaining high due to shortages and shipping costs, people are struggling now more than ever. This worthy program really can make the difference in people’s lives. They not only do daily meals for our Seniors and Veterans; they do hundreds of “Grab and Go” meals. In addition to the Connecticut Granger Trust Fund and the Connecticut State Grange Scholarship Fund, we ask that you please consider making your donation for this year’s State Project-Meals on Wheels/CT.
