| JULY/AUGUST 2009 -- Congratulations to the winners of the “Big E” contest in Connecticut held on June 14th. In the 7 and under class, the winner is Thomas Osip of Hillstown Junior. His collage was on Pirates.
In the 8 - 10 class, the winner was Jessica Dame of North Stonington Junior. Her collage was on Flowers. The winner in the 11 - 14 age group was Julia Cullers of North Stonington Junior. Her collage was on Horses.
Thank you to all of the Juniors who participated. We had a good turnout. These winners will be going on to the “Big E” to compete against the other states in the Northeast Connection. They will receive tickets to the “Big E” and a parking pass.
I hope all of you are working on your Drawing Contest and your Writing Contest about your Favorite Place Outside. These will be judged at Celebration Day at Goodwill Grange.
