| March 7, 2018 -- Did you know that 85% of your prospective members live within a 5-mile radius of your Grange? That means that they potentially see your sign from 40 to 60 times per month. If your Grange is having an event, 17% of those people may stop by just on impulse if their interest is peaked. Passersby would not realize that your Grange was even there unless it was properly marked.
Did you know that 13% to 20% of the population moves each year? That means your Grange has 13% to 20% of new residents to attract to your Grange through signage. Get them to notice you first, and second, become interested in your activities and events, and then work towards turning them into new members.
Is your Grange hosting a dinner, having a guest speaker, presenting a Community Award, or planning a community game night? Put up a sign or banner at your Grange Hall or meeting/event location promoting the specific event at least a month in advance of the date. Folks can only attend if they know what is happening and that they are welcome. Signage is the most effective way to advertise and promote your Grange and events.
Replacing an existing sign also has its benefits. Installing a renovated sign or new sign can increase interest as much as 16%. Giving your old sign a new paint job is a fast and inexpensive way to get your Grange noticed.
