It is getting closer to the time of our “ Let’s Celebrate “. Everybody should have their entries ready for that day; just make sure your name is on your entries so we know who won.
I always enjoy seeing all the homemade crafts and needlework entries from all age groups plus the bake goods for the baking contest. Let’s not forget about our latest contest “ Scrap booking." I know our judges all have a difficult time time deciding on the winners because all the items are so beautiful and tasty.
Don’t forget that “ Let’s Celebrate” is July 26, 2008 at Good Will Grange Hall; 43 Naubuc Avenue; Glastonbury, Ct.. Entries are to be at the hall between 9 and 10; judging will be at 11 A M. It is very important that all entries remain in place until after the social hour is over. So everyone that came to “ Let’s Celebrate” can admire the handiwork of all whom had enter the contest. After the program the items from the Needlework and Scrap booking can be pick up by Pomona chairpersons, except for the first place winners. The first place winners will go to the Big E to be judge on the New England level. All crafts items will go to the Big E to be sold except items that have won and will be use as gifts for the master, his wife plus any dignitaries.
Just a final note I hope everybody enjoy their summer. That some of you get a chance to get to Good Will Grange Hall for our “Let’s Celebrate “ day. The social hour will be at 2 P M with the Ct. Bristol old Tyme Fiddlers entertaining us. Winners will be announce at this time. It sounds like it will be a fun day. Hope to some of you.
