| FEBRUARY 4, 2013 -- BREAKING NEWS - JUST IN - BABY AFGHANS ARE BACK!!!!
By a vote taken at the Northeastern Leaders Conference there will be a new category added to the New England Needlework Contests. It will be CLASS K - Baby Afghans - knitted or crocheted. They must be a minimum of 24” by 36” and a maximum of 26” by 38”. This contest will start with the 2013 contests so get busy.
Just a couple of reminders for the other categories:
CLASS D - 3-Piece Baby Set - mittens or booties are considered 1 item of the set (not 2)
CLASS F - Embroidery - the back of the work must be able to be seen for judging.
CLASS G - Adult Garment - no hats, gloves, mittens (aka accessories)
CLASS H - Latch Hook - Must be a finished product with binding or made into a pillow
CLASS I - minimum and maximum sizes must be adhered to or they will be disqualified |
