| SEPTEMBER 2, 2011 -- Greetings fellow Grangers!!! Well if you have not already heard, CONNECTICUT WON IN THE DRILL COMPETITION at the Junior Youth Conference. Everyone put in a lot of long hours and hard work. Congratulations to everyone on the Drill Team. We look forward to next year and keeping the 1st Place in Connecticut. Congratulations to everyone that won this weekend. Connecticut had a great bunch that went to Maine and really showed off our talents. Congratulations to all!!!!! Speaking of Junior Youth Conference. Did you know that Connecticut will host this great event next summer? Why not have some fun and participate? Please contact Lisa Lamoureux at 203-238-1510 if you would like to help out or be part of the committee. We picked up a lot of great ideas and are excited about planning this weekend. It will be a great time for everyone.
Who wants to go to the Big E? We are planning on Saturday, September 24th as a day for Junior and Youth to help out in the Grange Building and participate in the parade in the afternoon. If you would like to be a part of this, please contact Lisa Lamoureux at 203-238-1510 to sign up. We will need help that day so be prepared to work but at the same time have lots of fun.
We are also planning a trip to the Connecticut Science Museum during State Session for Saturday morning before the luncheon. If any Junior or Youth would like to come, please contact your leader. Letters are going with all of the details.
