| MARCH 14, 2011 -- The Agriculture Council of America will mark National Ag Day on March 15. The event falls in the middle of National Ag Week, which is March 13 to 19.
On Ag Day, producers, agricultural associations, corporations, universities, government agencies and other groups across America will gather to celebrate the work of the nation's agriculturalists.
Each year, the National Ag Day program gathers members of the agricultural industry in an effort to promote American agriculture.
According to the Agriculture Council of America, every American should understand how food, fiber and renewable resource products are produced.
