| FEBRUARY 2, 2011 -- I am sure that many of you have started working on your projects for judging in June, but there are some updates to the rules that were determined at the Leader’s Conference in New York this weekend that may change the direction of your endeavors.
Wall Hangings will now have to be a minimum of 18”x18” and no larger than 24”x24”. Also, afghans must be a minimum of twin size. This will make it easier for the judging so that there is some equity in the amount of work that is done on the projects.
There was also a call for dishcloths, scrubbies, dish towels, clothespin bags, mittens and baby outfits for the Big E sales room as they seem not to be able to keep these in stock during the course of the event. Any other projects will also be gladly accepted.
Winner reporting forms for Subordinate and Pomona chairpersons will be available soon. |
