Gather your bowling ball and shoes and get ready for an afternoon of fun as the Connecticut State Grange Youth are sponsoring a "Bowl Across America" Bowl-A-Thon to be held on March 27, 2010 at Super Bowl Lanes in Plantsville.

Teams of two players will play three games. The team with the highest score at the end of three games will be the winner. All funds raised through this project will benefit the North East Youth Conference Travel Fund and the Connecticut Youth Travel Fund. The deadline to enter a team was March 10th.

The cost to participate in the Bowl-A-Thon is $15.00 per person. This includes shoes, bowling ball, use of the lanes for three games, as well as pizza and soda.

Pledge sheets and complete Bowl-A-Thon rules are available on the Connecticut State Grange website at www.CTStateGrange.org, or by contacting State Grange Youth Director Don Lanoue at youth@ctstategrange.org.

Super Bowl Lanes is located at 1300 South Main Street in Plantsville, and the event will begin at 1:00 PM. Those not wanting to bowl are encouraged to attend and cheer on the teams.
