NOTE: Refreshments & Social time at 7PM with meeting at 7:30PM unless otherwise noted.

We were surprised and delighted when CT State Grange Master, Robert Buck walked into our Hall at 7PM for our February Social Time. As seems to be our custom, at 7:30 we asked if he could fill in at a Station, which he did as Assistant Steward. He did a great job in that position since one of the things on the agenda was giving out the “annual word” for the year. It is always fun to have visitors and he added much to our discussions and to our program which was All About Love.

Our February Dance was a big success with many new people coming into our Grange Hall. We had dancers from age, I am guessing here, 4 through 80+. Five new people signed up to be put on the Dance email list and three of those also want to be on our Events email list. It was great to see our Hall filled with happy, smiling people and allowed our members to talk about Grange with some of them. Yes, we are always looking for members.

At our February meeting we gave donations to the CT Scholarship Fund, CT State Grange Foundation, CT Granger Trust Fund and Meals on Wheels.

Come dance with us on Saturday May 4th and see what it is all about.
