It has been a quiet winter, mercifully without much snow or frigid temperatures. We learned about the history of Candy Land at our one February meeting. The game was created by a young woman while she was recuperating from polio. We then played Valentine Bingo with M&M’s for markers and candy for prizes.
We look forward to a good crowd when we honor our Community Citizen and honor longtime members at our April 28 meeting. And if the daffodils that are coming up can just survive Winter Storm Anthony, next time we will tell you all about marvelous March.
