| DECEMBER 3, 2022 -- Mountain Laurel Pomona met on Saturday, December 3 at Winchester Grange Hall for our “Winter Fun” Christmas meeting.
27 members were in attendance in-person and on Zoom. A grab bag gift exchange was held and a collection of hats and gloves was taken for community organizations to distribute to those in need.
During the meeting, an extended discussion was held regarding the change of titles of Master/Overseer to President/Vice President. While the change is optional, many members spoke passionately regarding the side they supported. It was also decided to increase the Hall Use Fee paid to Granges who host Pomona meetings from $50 to $100 to cover more of the increased cost of opening up halls (especially for heating) for these meetings.
Our next meeting is scheduled for March 4, 2023 (Spring Ahead) at Riverton Grange Hall, beginning at 2 P.M.
