| OCTOBER 15, 2022 -- At last night’s Riverton Grange meeting, the members voted to make our December 16, January 6, and February 3 Grange Meetings virtual (via Zoom). The meetings will still begin at 7:30 PM (I will start it early if folks want to come virtually to socialize). Members felt with the uncertainty of weather during the winter, this minor change made sense.
Our next Riverton Grange meeting is on November 4th and will be in-person at the Grange Hall (6:45 PM for refreshments/social and 7:30 PM for meeting call to order) and a Zoom option will be offered too. Judy Doyle will host refreshments.
And please mark your calendar for Sunday, November 6, immediately following the Veteran of the Month Salute (approximately 6:30 PM) when our Grange will again host our Salute to Veterans potluck for all veterans and their families. Grangers Judy Doyle and Lorraine Paul have offered to help Raine and me with this event at the Barkhamsted Senior Center at 109 West River Road. The event is open to the public and all are invited to attend.
