| July 5, 2021 -- July 9: Meeting Omitted, It’s Fair Time!

On May 14 we learned a lot about the meaning of different smiles, then played a trivia game that brought lots of smiles to the participants. On May 28 the Lecturer and Chaplain conducted an impressive candlelight ceremony in which we honored past members, the thousands lost to COVID-19 and those who are laboring in the fight against it, and military personnel lost in the many wars in which our country has fought.
At this writing, barring any new mandates from the state, the North Stonington Agricultural Fair will take place July 8-11. There will be rides, games, lots of food, pulling contests, animals and fun for all. We are told that there will be a new attraction this year! Wrestling! Hope to see you all at the Fair! And if this darn yellow pollen that seems to be coating the world will just go away, next time I’ll tell you all about joyous June.
