| DECEMBER 7, 2020 -- At our regular November meeting, on Zoom, we were happily surprised to have State Master George Russell visit. Our members were excited to learn that the National Grange magazine, Good Day!, will include the article on Taghhannuck Grange’s broadband efforts that was in the October issue of the Connecticut Granger. We again donated to the Lakeville Journal which is our local newspaper. Our members feel it is important for all of the towns in the Northwest Corner to have access to local news in a weekly newspaper. Speaking of newspapers there was a great picture of our newest member, Miriam Jones, in our daily newspaper participating in the Veterans Day ceremony at the Sharon memorial.
Our regular monthly meeting is December 10, 2020 at 7:30 and is our Cookie Exchange meeting to be held on Zoom. Our members will drop off 4 dozen cookies in the drop box at the Master’s house the day before the meeting and a few members will make up approximately 25 gift packages to be given out to local Grangers who can’t get out and others who are in need.
Taghhannuck Grangers are looking forward to getting back into our Grange Hall but in the meantime we invite you to join us on Zoom as it adds energy to the meeting.
