| August 9, 2020 -- Taghhannuck Grange has been holding our monthly meetings via Zoom. As the months progress and our members get used to this new normal, members participation has increased each time.
We are very happy to announce that at our July meeting we had the obligation ceremony for two new members. They are a welcome addition to our Grange and both are very active in community service. Also, a new application for membership was approved.
Our Master and Secretary were chosen as delegates to the 2020 Annual Session of the Connecticut State Grange. It will be different this year.
August 13: Our meeting will again be a virtual Zoom meeting. There will be a short program about Lamas/Midsummer Celebrations.
August 27: This was going to be our annual picnic. Instead of the picnic the members at our July meeting agreed that a donation of food or money would be given individually to local food banks in their area in the name of the Grange. A notice will be sent to all members about this and we hope to have everyone participate.
