| April 2, 2020 -- Taghhannuck Grange hosted Mountain Laurel Pomona on March 7. We would like to thank all the members who donated to the refreshments and thank you also for your compliments on our hall.
At our regular meeting on March 12th we began a new community service project. We donated $200 to the Feed Your Mind Program (a group snack program) for the Sharon Center School pre-K and Kindergarten students. The program helps kids taste new foods and learn healthier eating habits along with
learning some cooking skills. This is a great program and would be wonderful if your local schools could do the same thing.
I am sorry to report that we lost a 75 year member. Francis Gomez was originally from Cornwall Grange and joined our Grange when Cornwall closed.
It does not look like we will have a meeting in April due to the Coronavirus and I hope that by May things will be better. Stay healthy and take care of yourselves. |
