Our May meeting went very well. We are asking our members to bring in some non-perishable food item that will be delivered to the Glastonbury Social Service Department.
We had a communication from a member of the Board of Directors of the Glastonbury Historical Society, Dr. Brian Chiffer. The Historical Society is voicing interest in featuring the Grange as part of their program during this year. They asked if we would be interested in this event and would we also help with this program. We certainly were very pleased to hear this and responded YES we certainly are interested. We are now waiting to hear from Dr. Chiffer and will meet with him to outline the event. Ann Posuniak and Kay Ruff will meet with Dr. Chiffer. Dan Posuniak and Ann Gilnack also voiced interest in helping.
June 6th is Election of Officers. Don’t let the election scare you away. We need you all to help elect who will serve Glastonbury Grange for the coming year. Doris and Mario always serve Strawberry Shortcake for the refreshments. This is one of my favorite desserts. Hope to see you there.
There are no Card Parties scheduled for July, August and September. See you on October 19th 2019.
