| DECEMBER 2008 -- Hi everyone!
I hope that all who attended the National Convention that was held in Connecticut enjoyed it. I want to thank all of the youth that came to the convention or who helped in any way.
A special thanks goes to Victor Salazar, J. Allen Cameron and Caraline McGrane for filling youth positions at the convention. Victor Salazar for being the Master of the National Grange Youth Officer Team, J. Allen for being a marching candidate for the seventh degree and Caraline McGrane for being a trumpet girl in the Seventh Degree.
Looking forward to the new grange year, I am looking for some feedback on an idea of having a youth camping weekend at Camp Berger. I have had a few people approach me and ask if this could be tried again. I am thinking in August after the camping season has ended. Just an idea, think about it and let me know. I try my hardest to come up with new ideas but do not always succeed so if you have an idea please give me a call and I will try to find a way to make it work. |
