Latest news we have received is that our Selectman Jeff Haney is very ill with cancer for which he is receiving treatment. There is no expectation that he will be able to oversee completion of our handicapped ramp at this time, so we may have to make alternate plans for its completion. We have been talking over having a fundraiser musical program to help Jeff with mounting bills. He has done so much for the town of Oxford above and beyond the duties of the selectman’s office.
The garden spaces outside the hall continue to develop as new things are added constantly. The goal is to represent the three graces of Grange ritual, Ceres, Pomona, and Flora, symbolically in the space around our building.
