Hillstown Grange is holding a Turkey Dinner and Garden Workshop on Thursday, March 22nd.  Doors open at 6:00 p.m for a Turkey Shepard Pie Dinner for just $3.00 including drink and dessert.

Dan Gallagher, our go-to garden guy, will be starting a garden workshop series following dinner.  Topics he plans to address are: successful seed starting; damping off disease; importance of soil temp; heirloom and open pollinated varieties; early season vegetables.  The workshops will continue on Thursdays beginning on April 12, 26, May 10, 24, and June 7. Garden workshops will be free and open to the public and is for experienced as well as new gardeners.

Hillstown Grange is located at 617 Hills Street, East Hartford, CT.  Located in the Hillstown corner of East Hartford, Glastonbury, and Manchester since 1888.  The Grange is the oldest Agricultural group in the United States.
