From a report in the Waterbury Republican-American: WARREN – Last year’s runner-up in the chili cook-off at Warren Congregational Church is this year’s winner. Ruth Schnell’s (of Taghhannuck Grange) chili was the lone entrant in the contest held during the town’s Holiday on the Hill Celebration on Saturday, Dec. 2.
