May 5: Reg. Meeting, 7:30 P.M., Program: CWA (Cookie Contest), Ref. Sally Dewey, Ed Downs and Grace Jones.
We had a low attendance at our February meeting. However, we all greatly enjoyed Raine Pedersen’s demonstration of the use of sugar and coconut oil as a defoliate. We were each given the ingredients to make this and used it on our hands. This was an interesting program of making a solution from natural products. It can be used on your body and then rinsed off in your shower.
A packet, which includes all of our state contests, was given to each family. I am hoping to have more entries in the contests this year. Our cookie contest will be judged at the May 5 meeting. The other contests will only be judged at Pomona before going on to state level.
We hope to see more of our members at meetings as the weather gets warmer and we are always happy to have visitors. |
