| JUNE 12, 2015 -- We would like to welcome Donald Tyler as a new member of Prospect Grange and happy to that he also took his 5ht degree in May. Donald has a lot of energy and we look forward to his input into our grange work.
Prospect Grange was proud to be able to celebrate Memorial Day with the Gold Star Families by making table favors for their annual Memorial Day celebration. Red White and Blue baskets filled with candy with a gold star on them were made and placed on the tables. We also took part in the placing of American Flags on the graves of veterans in 3 different cemeteries. We also took part in Memorial Day celebrations by donating food for a veterans picnic.
The presentation of 150 Certificates of Appreciation to the workers at the Paradigm Health Center was a highlight of our Grange Month celebration. Prospect Grange was proud to recognize these men and women for dedicating their lives to helping the handicapped and elderly when they cannot do for themselves. We received tons of smiles and thanks.
We had several entries in the CWA baking contest and have many entries in the craft and flower pot contests. We will be holding our annual picnic at our July meeting. Our Lecturer has many games and songs for us to play and sing. |
