Norfield Grange News for April

You might say that we Grangers eat rather well.  We do!  In the past few months we have downed fish soup (caught off Montauk), minestrone soup, chili, pizza, cakes, pies, marshmallows, and no end of potato chips.  Our Barn Dance and dinner had over 100 in attendance, and we “netted” about $200 after expenses.  It was suggested that our next fundraiser might be a “Farm to Fork” event.  As we have already pointed out, we Grangers eat well.

At this writing the St. Patrick’s Day Celebration is about to happen and the Baking Contest will take place next month.  Remember, the contest is open to Grange members, children and grandchildren of members.  The recipe can be obtained from any member of the CWA, along with directions for entering.

Apr. 14:  Grange Green Program 7:30, Baking Contest

May 12:  Camp Berger/Open House, 7:30 P.M.
