| AUGUST 6, 2014 -- There’s no such thing at Norfield Grange as a “lazy summer”. In June our State Treasurer Phil Bergquist, was a guest. And the following members were voted in for the coming year: President Randy Miller; Overseer, John Ojarovska; Lecturer, Tish Murray; Steward, Roland Poirier; Assistant Steward, Steve Porter; Treasurer, Lyn Kimberly; Secretary, Kareen Kanaga; Lady Assistant Steward, Barbara Gross; Chaplain, Steve Porter; Gatekeeper, Chris Kimberly; Ceres, Cubby Hickcox; Pomona, Catharine Kimberly; Flora, Anna Kimberly; Executive Committee, Julia Braden, Ewa Ojarovska, and Lisa Savage.
We held our baking contest, and had three winners: Julia Braden, Catharine Kimberly, and Randy Miller. And thanks to some amazing work headed by the Kimberly’s the moribund Camp Berger opened with a bang on July 6. It will close on August 9. Last but certainly not least, our Grange Fair will be held on Sunday, September 7. Be sure to vote early and often for the best tomato, hootch, and Jell-O structure. Well… not often, but certainly get there early!
