| JULY 3, 2014 -- Greetings Fellow Grangers. We are busy in our gardens at this time of year. June was our final dinner until our Fair in Sept. Happy Father’s Day to all our Dads.
We will be on our Summer schedule at Meriden Grange. Please join us at our picnic July 11. Weather permitting it will be at our beautiful Hubbard Park located close to 691, just come on down.
Aug. 8 will be movie night. Organic popcorn will be on the menu~buttered or cheese. The organic kernals can be found at our local Country Store in Meriden. Do bring a comfortable chair so you can enjoy the movie.
We here at Meriden Grange are waiting to see if our own Granger, Cindy Hupper brings home another blue ribbon with her Wizard of Oz craft submission. Cindy has won ribbons in the past for her fabulous plastic canvas creations. We are also pleased to see our fellow Granger from Southington Grange, Mildred Bell looking in the pink at her recent visit.
Remember to wear your sunscreen and drink plenty of water in the upcoming hot weather. |
