| MAY 10, 2014 -- Spring has finally sprung. Snowdrops are in full bloom (a month late, I might add). Peepers are peeping. It’s so uplifting.
A delightful program was presented by youth chair. Such a fun evening. All sorts of games and prizes.
Since Juniors can now join the Subordinate Grange, we had three applications for members for Juniors. Of course, they were voted in happily.
A committee has been formed and voted to begin looking into doing something about our old building. One wall is buckling and it is going to be a long drawn out process.
Welcomed are a few members from Old Lyme Grange. They will come to us by demit.
Norman Stitham from Old Lyme, made beautiful book marks. Everyone was presented with one with the promise he will make 100 to be handed out at our Hamburg Fair Aug. 15, 16 & 17. Such a wonderful surprise.
Happy spring. We can now look forward to summer.
