| APRIL 5, 2014 -- The final two of six installments of the Grange Gardening Series are scheduled for Thursday April 10th and April 24th. This open to the public program has been well received. All programs are held at the Grange Hall located at 482 Oxford Rd/CT Rte 67 next to the Oxford Center Firehouse. Starting time is 7:00 PM. Anyone is welcome from novice gardener to expert as all present are encouraged to share their experience making it more of a round-table than a lecture.
The April 10th topic is "Garden Pests: weed, insects, and other animals," and that for the 24th is "Final Garden Preparations and Seedling Swap." We always have coffee and snacks. Please join us even if you missed earlier dates in the series.
