| MARCH 6, 2014 -- Hello Fellow Grangers,
I’m sure we are all having the same goal, which is to stay warm this winter. Larry & I just returned from the Essex Ed Groundhog Day Parade and 6 more weeks of winter. We were interviewed for the New London Day newspaper. I enjoyed the National Grange position on President Obama’s speech and how he could learn quite a bit from the Grange.
Our feline Grangers are fairing during the cold snap and snow thanks to our concerned neighbors. I have heard some interesting discussions on the chemicals used to treat our roads and hopefully we will learn more from our Ecology Granger Michael.
I hope you got what you wanted on Valentine’s Day, we learned about the Funny Papers so I guess you could say that Meriden Grange had a Funny Valentine. |
