| DECEMBER 7, 2013 -- Sept.12 was a fair setup night for our fair on Sept 14, 2013.
Sept. 14 was our Fair day. It was bright, sunny and cool with a good turn out of people attending the fair and dinner. We served about 160 dinners which was up about 30 from last year.
Sept 26 was a Business meeting with reports about our fair.
Oct. 10 - Original program was Hockey on Thanksgiving in Canada but was cancelled at the last minute after Jim Lamoureux had gotten ill. We had a business meeting instead and had a discussion about the upcoming tag sale on Nov 16.
In Oct. Janet Haller and I represented Wallingford Grange at State Session.
Oct 24th’s program was Harvest Time in the Fall – We had a pot luck supper at 6:15pm with members of Wallingford and Cheshire Grange. There was plenty of food to go around and people enjoyed seeing new and old friends.
The Cheshire Welcoming team welcomed into the Wallingford Grange three new members: Anne Cella, her sister Robin McCoy and their cousin Henry Cadett. We also presented a 75th membership certificate to Evelyn Bolt. It was good to see her and to see that she is doing so well.
