| OCTOBER 5, 2013 -- The Whigville Grange will hold its October and November meetings at the Burlington Town Hall, rte 4, Burlington. This will provide a warmer meeting place, and we hope to meet there all winter. Please join us for the meeting on Oct. 9 at 7pm.
Our members gathered for a day of pie baking, followed by a potluck supper in August. We made over 50 pies, which will be sold at Burlington’s Tavern Day and at our fair. Last year we ran out early, we are getting a following for our pie!
With the start of school, we would like to remind everyone to collect Campbells product “Labels For Education”. Most schools collect them, but if you don’t have a school to take them, just ask around. This is great way for schools to get items they need.
