| SEPTEMBER 6, 2013 -- We held our monthly meeting on Wednesday July 17th. Our planned picnic was postponed because of the heat wave. Our meeting in the Bridgewater Grange Hall was hot too but cooled by fans, water and relatively cool night air we managed. Our next meeting was August 14th and our Grange Hall was opened on Friday August 16th for the Bridgewater Fireman’s Parade.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of one of our sisters. Dorthea DeFriesse passed away at the age of 66 after dealing with cancer for several years. She was a member of the Grange for the last 12 years. She was a women of peace and she loved gardening and animals. Many Grange members attended her memorial service on Friday August 2nd. |
