| AUGUST 15, 2013 -- We conferred the 5th Degree on two candidates in may. We welcome Noah Brown from North Stonington and James Miller from Colchester.
Our annual picnic will take place on Saturday, August 24 at Bluff Point State Park in Groton. Hamburgers and hot dogs will be provided by the Pomona. Please bring a salad, side dish or dessert. Picnic starts at noon. Bring a game to share.
Looking ahead to September, our meeting will be at Stonington Grange on the 12th. Our big fundraiser will be on the 21st at North Stonington Grange and fairgrounds. There will be a Civil War encampment, antique appraisals, entertainment and much more. Food will be available in the food booth. The fun begins at 10 A.M.
The summer is fun, with picnics and sun,
Let’s all get together, my friends.
It’s out to the bluff, just bring your stuff,
And you’ll see that the fun never ends.
