JULY/AUGUST 2007 --
Our congratulations to all of the winners of prizes in the 2007 Connecticut State Grange Raffle for the benefit of the 2008 National Hosting Committee. Special thanks also to all who either bought or sold tickets. Your efforts resulted in a profit of $2,200. This profit coupled with the $1,400 profit from the May Roast Beef Dinner adds an additional $3,600 to the National Grange Hosting Fund. THANK YOU! Much more fundraising is needed but these two projects have gone a long way towards our goal.
The drawing was held on Grange Sunday at Good Will Grange Hall on June 10. The winners were:
1st - Stop & Shop $500 Gift Certificate - Ken Weathers of Waterbury
2nd - Mobil/Exxon Gift Certificate - Jane Miller of Cheshire Grange
3rd - WalMart Gift Certificate - Jean Accornero of Glastonbury Grange
