We had another milestone birthday, Alione Stark Cone turned 80, so of course there was a cake, candles and the Happy Birthday song was sung loud and clear.

Our Deputy, Jeff Barnes, presented Kathy Tefft with her 50 year certificate.  She was accompanied by her two grandsons David and Riley.  He also presented Alione with her brother, Lucius Stark, 55 year seal.  On the 14th of May, our Master will visit Virginia Gardner.  It is her 99th birthday. She will be presented with her 85th year letter from the National Master.  Of course, there will be flowers and a balloon.

The daffodils have passed, we are now looking forward to flowering trees and shrubs.  It has been a beautiful spring after the hard winter.

Our old rusted fence around the fairgrounds has been replaced by a gorgeous black one.  It sure looks wonderful.  The old fence was sold for scrap metal.  The gates are now larger to allow large trucks carrying cattle to enter our fairgrounds much more easily.
