| MAY 6, 2013 -- We have lost another faithful Granger to the Great Grange Above. Rose Berg, mother of our Overseer, passed away on March 26. Rose worked for years at the main gate of our Agricultural Fair and was a faithful worker in our food booth at dog and horse shows.
Our Lecturer presented her State program at our March 8th meeting and it looks like another winner. The parade around the hall, complete with floats and costumes, was impressive indeed. At our March 21st meeting the Youth presented the program. We broke into groups and brainstormed ideas for increasing the membership. The groups came up with many good ideas and we will be working on them in the near future.
We will be decorating our float for the Memorial Day Parade on Monday morning May 29. If you would like to help, come on down around 7:30. We will also be starting up our food booth again for the spring and summer events. If you would like to volunteer, please contact the Secretary.
The days are getting longer and the weather is warming. Hope to see lots of you at our programs in May. And if those little, midnight visitors will just stay out of my bird feeders, next time I’ll tell you all about awesome April.
