| APRIL 26, 2013 -- The Cheshire Grange will hold its annual Awards Night on May 1st at 7:30 p.m. at the Grange Hall, 44 Wallingford Road. The public is invited to attend.
Entertainment for the evening will be The Bennett Family of Cheshire.
While several presentations will be made, the highlight of the evening will be the recognition of Ralph Zingarella, who has gone above and beyond his duties at Cheshire High School in organizing events for CHS students. This year was the first Veterans Day in which school was in session. Through his efforts, all veterans were honored with a breakfast. Over 300 attended. Following the event, students mingled with the veterans. The VIP Choral Group sang and the 160 piece marching band played. Students spoke to the vets on the importance of honoring and never forgetting their sacrifices.
