| SEPTEMBER 25, 2012 -- Ekonk Community Grange located at 723 Ekonk Hill Road, Sterling will be holding an all you can eat roast beef supper at 5 p.m. Oct. 13.
All proceeds will be donated to "Home At Last", a project begun by the Jewett City VFW to build 18 units as housing for veterans who otherwise would be homeless.
A display on the facility will be set up at the supper and at least one veteran will be on hand to answer questions.
Tickets are $12 for adults, $6 for children under 12 and preschoolers will be admitted free.
The menu will include roast beef, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, applesauce, rolls and butter, beverages and Ekonk Hill Turkey Farm ice cream for dessert.
