| JUNE 25, 2012 -- Gilbert Standley, age 82, widow of Miriam Sampson Standley of the Nichols section of Trumbull and past Chief of the Nichols Fire Department passed away on Wednesday June 20, 2012 at home.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday July 1, 2012 from 3 to 7 p.m. in the Dennis & D'Arcy Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main St. Stratford. Funeral services will be held on Monday July 2, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Nichols United Methodist Church, with Pastor Joseph Piccirillo, officiating. Burial will follow in Nichols Cemetery.
