| JUNE 4, 2012 -- At our May 2nd meeting we honored Robert deJongh as our Community Citizen of the Year. We had musical entertainment provided by Kim Meyers from Myers Skylight Music, a Tea Cup Auction, a good turnout and excellent refreshments for the occasion.
We did a fund raising dinner in late April for a local hiking club to benefit our treasury, and in early June we will have another card party preceeded by a pasta dinner.
We recently delivered May Day flower favors to the Marbridge retirement home in town. Ads are coming in for our August Community Fair book and other plans are underway for our fair which will be a month early this year, August 25th and 26th.
