| SEPTEMBER 9, 2010 -- The Hillstown Grange will hold its annual agricultural harvest fair Saturday, September 11, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Grange Hall, 617 Hills St., East Hartford.
Prizes will be awarded in a variety of public-entered categories, including needlework, flowers, crafts, hobbies, vegetables, baked goods, jams and jellies, as well as contests for giant zucchini squash and the most cherry tomatoes on a branch. Entries for judging must be submitted at the Grange on Friday, September 10, between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m.
