| DECEMBER 5, 2008 -- Kathryn (Roraback) Millard, 85, died Nov. 26, 2008. She was the widow of the late Oliver C. Millard.
Born May 5, 1923, in Winchester, she was the daughter of Earl J. and Gertrude (Bull) Roraback. She was a resident of Winsted all of her life.
Mrs. Millard was a member of the First Church of Winsted. She was also a member of the Riverton Grange, AARP, Opportunity Club of First Church and the McCarthy Senior Center.
She is survived by two sons, David B. Millard of West Virginia and Dennis E. Millard of Winsted; a granddaughter, Rebecca L. (Brian) Boccio of Torrington; three grandsons, Marcus A. (Melonie) Millard of South Windham, Cory J. (Kristan) Millard of Vermont and Travis D. Millard of Washington; and five great-grandchildren, Brooke K. and Jacob D. Boccio, William and Charlie Millard and Jett A. Millard. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by three sons, Jon E. Millard, Brian C. Millard and Duane A. Millard; a brother, Earl J. Roraback Jr. (Jupe); and a sister, Gertrude Prelli.
A celebration of life service will be held Dec. 6 at 7 p.m. at the First Church of Winsted. Burial will be at Eno Hill Cemetery at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.
