| DECEMBER 18, 2009 -- Janet G. Coleman, 81, died Dec. 11, 2009. Born Dec. 19, 1927, in Winsted, she was the daughter of the late Janet (Gray) and Carl Coleman. She worked for many years at Dano Electric until retirement. She enjoyed her many friends at the Blanche McCarthy Senior Center in Winsted, where she volunteered for many years. She was also a member of the Riverton Grange.
She is survived by her brothers, George Coleman and his wife, Helen, of Colebrook and Spinney Coleman and his wife, Sally, of Colebrook; two nephews, Jeff Coleman and Michael Coleman, both of Colebrook; two nieces, Colleen Hiller of Colorado and Jody Yager of California; and several great-nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Robert Coleman and Gordon Coleman; and a nephew, Gregory Coleman.
Funeral services were held Dec. 15 at Montano-Shea Funeral Home, Winsted. Burial will be held in the spring at Eno Hill Cemetery, Colebrook.
